Having been isolated in rural Manitoba at the time of the global pandemic, Courtney and Nikki began crafting their project sundayclub.

Taking inspiration from modern indie bands/arists/icons such as Metric, DayWave, The 1975, Clairo, beabadoobee, and Alvvays, their sound blends gritty ‘90s alternative and shoegaze with indie dream pop, featuring memorable riffs and alluring/trancsdeant melodies.

With little opportunity to socialize or collaborate with their peers, they became inspired by their immediate surroundings: a comfy basement bedroom. Their catalogue reflects just that; existing as a multitude of tiny snapshots of singular moments and feelings in time.
